Howdy friends,

it's me, Scotty, test eater for San Pedro Dogs.

It has been a while since my last newsletter...not that I was not thinking about you, but I suffered from a severe case of doggy writers block. I could just not get one complete sentence out of my paw. Mom thinks it has to do with the stress of every day life...y'all know what I mean.....dog park , Ranch, walkies, protecting the house and on top of all THAT...dealing with my 2 sisters *sigh*.

Let's hope that this was a temporary condition and I am now back to my normal routine.

News? well let me think about it.......we had a long eventful summer , not many cookie orders but quite a few cakes, birthday and others. Not much happened with the plan to try out cookies made from soy flour, but the stuff is sitting in the pantry waiting to be made into cookies. I pawmise news on this soon.

We also have sad news to report. Our friend Maxx went over the Rainbow Bridge last week. He had a great long life and mom baked quite a few cakes for him in his last months but it's always hard to say good bye. Our prayers are with his family.

My sister Reba is still on her medication to cure her Valley Fever but is doing quite well. My other sister Kimba is nothing but a pain in my cute little puppy butt....since she decided to be all grown up this summer, she challenges my every move.

In the good news department....we helped to get a bunch of rescues and shelter doggies a new furever home. This always feels great.

Last but not least.....if you want to meet my mom and dad (betcha we are not allowed to be there AGAIN)and also get some doggylicious treats and some very cool doggy Halloween specials, you can do that this coming weekend at the Redondo Beach Dog Park. They are  holding their Halloween Hoedown Fundraiser on Sunday , October 19Th , 11 AM to  4 PM. There will be a doggy costume parade ,lots of booths (incl. ours) and rescue groups.

Be there or be a pooper.

That's all for today......remember , Christmas is only a few short weeks away, put in your treat and cake orders early. Mom is looking to put together some specials for that too.

I am attaching a picture of our last cake for our friend Maxx..just because I think it was too funny......

As always, take care of your pooches, love them and treat them like family ..they all deserve it.

So long

Scotty
